It is important to think about all of these things when it comes to picking what size dumpster you will need. You need to know how much space you have to place the dumpster before deciding what size roll-off to get. Most of our customers decide to place their dumpster in the driveway because a dumpster in the yard will cause damage to the grass.
Since your dumpster comes with a weight limit, it is important to know how heavy your materials are, how much you have to throw out, and what types of materials will be going in the dumpster. If you are going to be throwing out concrete compared to carpeting, you will need a much higher weight limit. If you go over the allotted weight limit for your dumpster, you will be charged for an overage fee. Please do your best not use the dumpster for very heavy debris without our knowledge.
Placement for Your Rockford Dumpster Rental
When you rent a dumpster in Rockford, you have the option to place your dumpster in a number of different areas. Most of our customers choose to place their dumpster in their driveway but you can also choose to place the dumpster in a parking lot, on the street, or in your yard. If you choose to place the dumpster in the street, you will need to obtain a permit from the city. Our driver will be unable to drop off a dumpster in the street, if you do have the permit for street placement.
Another thing to keep in mind when preparing for your dumpster to be dropped off or picked up is to make sure the area is clear of all obstructions. This may include low hanging wires, tree branches, cars in the driveway, or anything that could keep the driver from dropping off the container. You should also be aware that the dumpster will be delivered on a semi-sized truck therefor we are not able to deliver containers to an area that is only accessible through an alley way or narrow road. If our driver is unable to drop off or pick up the dumpster through no fault of their own, you will be charged for a trip fee.
